Kinetic Recovery Rope

At the core of the kit is Saber Offroad’s 12,500kg kinetic recovery rope, designed to stretch under load and deliver a smoother, safer recovery compared to traditional snatch straps.

The rope stretches as tension builds, storing kinetic energy before transferring it progressively to the stuck vehicle. This controlled energy release reduces shock loads on vehicles, recovery points, and equipment — especially important when recovering heavier vehicles in sand, mud, or loose terrain.

Kinetic ropes offer up to 50% more stretch than conventional snatch straps, making them far better suited to controlled recoveries when traction is limited.

As a general rule, kinetic recovery gear should be rated 2–3 times the weight of the vehicle — which is exactly where this kit sits for high-GVM applications.

Soft Shackles & Recovery Hardware

The 12K Ultimate Recovery Kit includes multiple high-rated SaberPro soft shackles, offering a safer alternative to traditional metal shackles.
