3. Products, Descriptions & Live Inventory
We take reasonable care to ensure accuracy across our catalogue.
Live Product Feeds: For items not held physically at our premises, we utilise integrated Live API Data Feeds from our authorised manufacturers and distributors. These feeds update hourly to provide the most accurate availability possible.
Accuracy: While we strive for 100% accuracy, high demand means availability can change rapidly. We reserve the right to cancel and refund any order where a “data latency” error has occurred (e.g., an item selling out at the source between our hourly updates).
Compatibility: Product images are for illustrative purposes. We strongly recommend contacting us for fitment advice prior to purchase.
4. Pricing & VAT Status
Currency: All prices are in GBP (£).
VAT: Auto House Shop is not VAT registered; therefore, VAT is not charged on any transaction, and the price displayed is the total price payable.
Errors: If an item is listed at an incorrect price due to a technical error, we reserve the right to cancel the order and provide a full refund.
5. Orders & Payment
Contract: A contract is formed between us once your payment is successfully processed.
Secure Payments: Payments are handled via Stripe or PayPal.
Bank Statements: Charges on your statement will typically appear as AUTOHOUSESHOP.
6. Delivery & Fulfilment
Fulfilment Model: We utilise a hybrid fulfilment model involving both local stock and direct dispatch from authorised partner hubs.
Lead Times: Delivery times vary by brand and stock location. Please refer to our Shipping Policy for specific brand lead times and handling periods.
Ownership: We remain responsible for the goods until they are successfully delivered to your specified address.
7. Returns & Refunds
Our returns process is governed by the UK Consumer Contracts Regulations and our own extended satisfaction guarantee.
Statutory Cancellation: You have the right to cancel within 14 days of delivery for a full refund including standard outbound shipping.
Extended Window: We offer an extended return period of 30 days. For “change of mind” returns outside of the initial 14-day statutory period, outbound shipping costs are non-refundable.
Special Orders: Items sourced as “Manufacturer Stock” (e.g., from Australia) or made-to-order items are exempt from the 14-day cooling-off period unless they are faulty.
8. Faulty Goods & Warranties
You are protected by the UK Consumer Rights Act 2015.
If a product is faulty, not as described, or unfit for purpose, you are entitled to a repair, replacement, or refund.
Direct Support: Auto House Shop will manage all warranty and fault claims directly with you to ensure a swift resolution. We will provide pre-paid returns labels for any items verified as faulty.
9. Liability
Auto House Shop is not liable for damage resulting from improper installation or misuse of performance components by the customer. We strongly recommend professional installation for all mechanical parts.
10. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
