Kinetic Recovery Rope

At the heart of the kit is Saber Offroad’s 8,200kg kinetic recovery rope. At 9 metres long, it’s designed to stretch under load, up to 30%, allowing it to store and release energy smoothly during a recovery.

Compared to traditional snatch straps or chains, this controlled stretch significantly reduces shock loads on vehicles and recovery points. That means less stress on the vehicle, less risk to people nearby, and a far more controlled recovery, particularly in sand, mud, or snow.

The rope is designed to work with a small amount of slack, building momentum before transferring energy to the stuck vehicle — making recoveries more effective when traction is limited.

All Saber Offroad kinetic ropes are NATA tested in Australia and fully compliant with local safety and labelling standards.

Soft Shackles

This kit includes multiple SaberPro soft shackles, rated up to 18,000kg, providing a safer alternative to traditional metal shackles.

Soft shackles are:

When paired with a kinetic rope, properly rated soft shackles dramatically reduce the risk of dangerous recoil or vehicle damage – a common issue with metal shackles during recoveries.

The inclusion of the Ezy-Glide Recovery Ring, winch extension rope, and winch damper makes this a genuinely versatile kit for both kinetic and winch recoveries.

The Ezy-Glide Recovery Ring replaces traditional snatch blocks, offering a lighter, safer alternative without the need for heavy metal hardware. Combined with the SaberPro winch extension rope, it allows for flexible winching setups without carrying unnecessary extra gear.
