At Auto House Shop, we want you to be 100% confident in your purchase. We operate in full compliance with the UK Consumer Rights Act 2015 and the Consumer Contracts Regulations. As the Merchant of Record, we manage all returns and support directly.
Note on Bank Statements: Payments on your statement will appear as AUTOHOUSESHOP.
1. Your Right to Cancel (14-Day Cooling-Off Period)
Under UK law, you have the right to cancel your order for any reason within 14 days of receiving your goods. Once you have notified us of your intent to cancel, you have a further 14 days to return the items to us.
2. Our Extended 30-Day Returns Window
To give our customers extra peace of mind, Auto House Shop extends the standard return window to 30 days from the date of delivery. If 30 days have passed since your delivery, we are unable to offer a “change of mind” refund.
3. Eligibility & Condition of Items
To be eligible for a “change of mind” return, items must be:
- Unused and Unfitted: We cannot accept returns for mechanical parts that have been installed, bolted on, or show installation marks (e.g., exhaust flange marks or tool scratches).
- Original Packaging: Items must be in their original, undamaged packaging with all hardware and instructions included.
- Sealed Fluids: For safety and hygiene, opened containers of oils, additives, or cleaners cannot be returned.
4. Special Orders & Imported Items (e.g., XForce Exhausts)
In accordance with the Consumer Contracts Regulations, the right to cancel does not apply to goods made to the consumer’s specifications or clearly personalised.
- Special Order Imports: Items marked as “Special Order” or “Manufacturer Stock (Australia)” are imported specifically for your vehicle/order.
- Fitment Guarantee: Because these items are sourced specifically for your request, we provide a fitment guarantee. If we confirm a part fits your VIN and it does not, we will handle the return. For “change of mind” on these specialist imports, returns are generally not accepted unless the item is faulty or not as described.
5. Faulty, Damaged, or Incorrect Items
If your item is faulty, damaged in transit, or does not match the description, we will resolve the issue at no cost to you.
- Reporting: Notify us within 30 days at Jordan@Auto-House.Shop with a description and photos of the issue.
- Pre-paid Labels: For verified faults, we provide a pre-paid returns label. Once inspected, we will offer a replacement or a full refund.
6. Return Shipping Costs
- Change of Mind: The customer is responsible for the cost and safe transit of the return. We recommend using a tracked service for high-value items like exhausts.
- Faulty/Incorrect Items: Auto House Shop covers all return shipping costs via a provided label.
7. Refund Processing
Once your return is received and inspected, we will process your refund to the original payment method.
- Timeline: Refunds typically take 3–10 working days to appear in your account, depending on your bank.
