Rear Bite That Actually Keeps Up
DBA Xtreme Performance (XP) rear brake pads are built for drivers who want high initial bite and consistent friction from cold through to serious heat. They’re aimed at high-demand street performance, fast-road use, and club track days — where an OE-style compound can start to feel soft once temperatures climb.
DBA recommends pairing XP pads with T3 slotted rotors in the 4000 or 5000 Series for best stopping performance. Xtreme Performance pads are identified by the (XP) suffix.

- M135i (F20/F21) 2012–2017 — Rear disc: DBA2677 — Brembo rear
- M140i (F20/F21) 2016–2019 — Rear disc: DBA2677 — Brembo rear
BMW 2 Series
- 228i (F22) 2014–2016 — Rear disc: DBA2677 — Brembo rear
- 230i (F22/F23) 2016– — Rear disc: DBA2677 — Brembo rear

BMW 3 & 4 Series (Selected Brembo Rear Applications)
A number of F3x 3/4 Series models running Brembo rear calipers are also covered in this pad shape, including applications with rear discs DBA2287 and/or DBA2677 (depending on model/year/output).
BMW M Models (Brembo Rear / DBA3298)
Also fits multiple M-car rear applications including:
- M2 (F87) 2016–2018 — Rear disc: DBA3298 — Brembo rear
- M2 Competition (F87) 2018– — Rear disc: DBA3298 — Brembo rear
- M3/M4 (F80/F82) incl. Competition/CS variants — Rear disc: DBA3298 — Brembo rear
If your car is fitted with Brembo rear calipers and uses rear discs listed above (e.g. DBA2677 / DBA2287 / DBA3298 depending on model), these are the correct rear pads.
Important Notes
- Rear pads should be replaced as a complete axle set (both sides at once).
- XP pads are designed for higher friction and higher temperatures — some increase in dust/noise can be normal versus OE-style compounds.
- For best results, fit with matching discs where appropriate and follow a proper bedding-in procedure.
