These exhaust tips are designed specifically for the compatible XFORCE exhaust system fitted to the 2015 to 2017 Ford Mustang GT.
They are not universal exhaust tips and are not designed to fit:
- The factory Ford exhaust system
- Standard Mustang rear silencers
- Other aftermarket exhaust systems
- Mustang models from 2018 onwards
- Vehicles without the compatible XFORCE system
A 3-inch pipe diameter alone does not guarantee compatibility. The outlet position, insertion depth, clamping arrangement and bumper alignment must also match the XFORCE system.

The XFORCE ES-FM15-CFTIPS replaces the standard tips supplied with compatible XFORCE Mustang exhaust systems.
Each tip combines a stainless-steel internal structure with a genuine carbon-fibre outer skin, giving the rear of the Mustang a darker and more purposeful appearance.
The large 4-inch outlets fill the rear bumper openings properly, while the angled double-wall design follows the shape of the Mustang’s rear bodywork.

This is a complete pair for the left and right sides of the compatible XFORCE Mustang exhaust system.
Installation
The exhaust must be completely cool before installation begins.
General installation involves:
- Loosening the clamps securing the existing XFORCE tips.
- Removing the existing tips from the exhaust outlets.
- Cleaning the exposed outlet pipes.
- Sliding the new carbon-fibre tips into position.
- Aligning both tips within the rear bumper openings.
- Checking clearance around the carbon outer skins.
- Tightening the clamps evenly.
- Rechecking the alignment and clamp tension after the first complete heat cycle.
Do not allow the carbon-fibre outer skin to contact the bumper or rear valance.
Professional installation is recommended if the existing tips are seized, damaged or difficult to align.
Caring for the Carbon Fibre
Allow the tips to cool before cleaning.
Use:
- A soft microfibre cloth
- Mild automotive shampoo
- A non-abrasive detailing product suitable for carbon fibre
Avoid:
- Abrasive metal polish on the carbon surface
- Harsh solvents
- Aggressive wheel cleaner
- Wire brushes
- Cleaning the tips while hot
Regular cleaning will help prevent soot and road contamination building up around the outlets.
