Nissan Navara D40 2.5 dCi Service Kit | Thai-Built YD25
The Nissan Navara D40 2.5 is built to work, tow and cover serious mileage, but keeping the YD25 engine reliable depends on using the correct oil, filters and service parts.
This service kit has been assembled specifically for Thai-built Nissan Navara D40 models. The standard kit combines 7 litres of Ravenol HDS 5W-30 engine oil with the correct Ryco Z89A oil filter, giving you the essentials required for a routine engine oil service.
Additional air, fuel and cabin filters can be selected individually, or the standard oil filter can be upgraded to the complete Ryco RSK34C filter kit.

7 Litres of Ravenol HDS 5W-30 Engine Oil
Ravenol HDS 5W-30 is a synthetic, Low SAPS engine oil formulated for diesel engines using Ravenol CleanSynto® technology.
It carries the ACEA C4 specification, matching Nissan’s C3 or C4 Low Ash requirement for compatible DPF-equipped YD25 engines.
The standard kit includes:
- One 5-litre container
- Two 1-litre containers
- 7 litres in total
- SAE 5W-30 viscosity

Ryco Z89A Oil Filter
The Ryco Z89A is an OE-equivalent spin-on oil filter selected for compatible Thai-built D40 YD25 engines.
It is designed to provide:
- Reliable contaminant capture
- Consistent oil flow
- Appropriate bypass operation
- Protection throughout the normal service interval
Oil Capacity
Thai-built Nissan Navara D40 models using the YD25 engine have an approximate refill capacity of 6.9 litres when replacing the oil filter.
The standard kit therefore supplies 7 litres, which is sufficient for a normal engine oil and filter change.
Oil capacities are approximate and can vary slightly according to oil temperature and drain time. Add most of the supplied oil, run the engine to fill the new filter, switch the engine off, allow the oil to settle and use the dipstick to set the final level.
Do not automatically pour the entire supplied quantity into the engine without checking the dipstick.

The RSK34C is specifically listed by Ryco for the Thai-built Nissan Navara D40 2.5 YD25 and includes:

When selected, the RSK34C replaces the standard standalone Z89A oil filter. You will therefore receive one complete set of service filters without duplicating the oil filter.

- Spanish-built vehicles typically have a VIN beginning VSK
