Designed for 2015-2023 Ford Mustang models, this uprated tubular rear anti-roll bar increases rear suspension roll stiffness and provides three adjustment positions. This allows the handling characteristics to be tailored around the vehicle, existing suspension modifications and intended use.

It is suitable for both 2.3-litre EcoBoost and 5.0-litre GT models, including Coupe and Convertible variants.

More Control Through Corners

An anti-roll bar connects the suspension on the left and right sides of the vehicle. During cornering, it resists the difference in suspension movement between the two sides, helping reduce body roll and maintain a flatter, more controlled stance.

Increasing rear roll stiffness can make the Mustang feel more responsive during direction changes and help reduce its natural tendency towards understeer.

However, setting the rear bar too stiff in relation to the front can make the rear of the vehicle more responsive and potentially more prone to oversteer. The adjustment should therefore be selected to suit the complete suspension setup, tyre choice and intended use.

Three-Position Adjustment

Three mounting positions allow the effective stiffness of the rear anti-roll bar to be adjusted.

Combining the front and rear Pedders bars provides a more balanced upgrade and allows the vehicle’s overall roll stiffness and handling characteristics to be adjusted more effectively.

The rear bar may still be installed independently, particularly where the vehicle already has other suspension modifications, but it should not automatically be placed on its stiffest setting without considering the complete setup.

Installation

This anti-roll bar uses the Mustang’s original mounting locations, but professional installation is recommended.

During installation:

• Existing anti-roll-bar links should be inspected for wear

• All fixings must be tightened to the specified torque
• Clearance should be checked throughout the suspension’s movement
