The SP compound provides a useful balance between performance and everyday manners. It avoids some of the excessive noise, dust, disc wear and poor cold response that can come with fitting an unnecessarily aggressive competition pad to a road car.
Not Intended as a Dedicated Track Pad
These are Street Performance pads, not dedicated track brake pads.
They are designed to remain consistent at operating temperatures of up to approximately 438°C, making them suitable for demanding road use. However, regular circuit driving can generate considerably higher and more sustained brake temperatures.
For frequent track days or more extreme use, the DBA DB1845XP Xtreme Performance compound would be the more appropriate option.

For original UK-market vehicles, this application primarily corresponds to the Subaru WRX STI Final Edition, fitted with yellow six-piston Brembo front calipers and 340mm front brake discs.
Important Fitment Information
These pads do not fit every VA-generation Subaru WRX STI.
Earlier UK models commonly use four-piston Brembo front calipers with smaller 326mm discs. DB1845SP will not fit those calipers.
Before ordering, confirm that your vehicle has:

Installation and Bedding-In
